Persistence $XPRT delegation guide by MyCointainer (cold staking)
Cold staking is a secured staking process. Users can stake Persistence tokens by keeping XPRT tokens in their wallets.
How to delegate LTP tokens:
Make sure, you have your XPRT tokens in persistence wallet.
- Visit https://wallet.persistence.one/ and click on the “Sign In”
2. Click on the “Continue with Address” button.
3. Enter in your wallet address and click “Submit”.
4. Click on ‘Staking’ in your dashboard , You will be listed with all validators. Choose MyCointaner as validator by clicking on ‘Actions’ button as shown below:
5. You will be displayed with MyCointainer validator. Click on ‘Delegate’.
6. Input the number of tokens you wish to deligate / stake.
7. Click ‘Next’ you will be greeted with this screen to use your private key (KeyStore file) or Mnemonic and click Delegate.
8. You get successful delegation message.
Claiming Rewards
1. You can go to MyCointainer validator, click ‘Actions’ and click on claim rewards to withdraw your XPRT reward tokens to your persistence wallet.
2. To withdraw coins to exchange, you can click on ‘Unbound’ and by choosing MyCointainer validator to withdraw XPRT tokens to any exchange.
